The Brief: Launching in 2020, the identity for this new bar needed to capture the personality of the owner and proprietor. Combining an eclectic mix of champagne heritage, craft cues and modern French electronica with a tongue-in-cheek tone of voice.
The Creative: A down-to-earth craft champagne bar that challenges the notions of how French champagnes can be served and tasted. Only from small growers, made in limited batches for everyday enjoyment. Our name reflects our rebellion against the established ‘Veuves’ (French for ‘Widows’), and our focus on finding small-batch, artisanal champagnes for everyday enjoyment - the ‘Other Widows’.
